Part palatial that the Germans had found during the excavations of 1942 now you are sure that it is only part of the great residential complex and not the entire building.
But this building is not. Also this year we have worked very hard but we could not solve the problem. There are many hypotheses, but has not yet reached any conclusions. Since in the vicinity of the site to a stream, now almost dry, chances are good that the house was swept away by the stream during a flood.
We all hope it is not so!
It was not until June of 2009 in order to have more news when the excavation will be reopened. In the meantime we can only analyze data and problems arising in the latest excavations.
